Campers taking a full-day class or both morning and afternoon classes can sign up for the Extended Day Program. This program allows you to drop off your camper at 8 am (one hour before class begins) and pick them up at 5 pm (two hours after class ends). For more information please refer to page 15 of the Hands-On Science Camp catalog.
How do I create a full-day program if my grade level only offers half-day courses?
Two half-day programs can be combined to create a full-day. A supervised lunch period is included when enrolling for a morning and afternoon class. Lunch will not be provided by the California Science Center Foundation. Campers must bring their own lunch for all day classes. Snacks and water are recommended. Please refer to the Course Calendar on page 13-14 of the Hands-On Science Camp catalog for more information.
Refunds are permitted up to 30 days prior to the start of your Camper's session. A $25 processing fee will be subtracted from the refund. No refunds or credits will be given 30 days prior to your Camp session. If you do not receive a confirmation letter, please call (213) 744 -7444. In the event that a class is cancelled by the California Science Center Foundation, we make arrangements for your child to enroll in another class or refund your money.
Class changes must be made 30 days in advance. A $25 processing fee will be charged for each change made to your reservation(s). There is no guarantee that space will be available in another class and no cash refunds will be given, so please plan carefully before registering.
